Over the course of 20 years, Pump has served in various executive leadership roles in Colorado Springs. Before joining PDI, Pump spearheaded and launched Peak Vista Community Health Center’s renowned Developmental Disability Health Center, which has been recognized internationally for its unique and innovative healthcare platform. In addition to the Colorado Health Benefit Exchange Health Plan Advisory Group, David has served on boards for Homeward Pikes Peak, Colorado Community Health Network Ventures, Inc. and the Community Health Provider Alliance Coordinated Access To Community Health committee and was on the board for the Springs Rescue Mission. Additionally, David chaired the Colorado Operations Directors Advisory Network and the board of directors for the Colorado Community Health Network — a statewide association for community health centers. David earned a bachelor’s degree in business communication from Jones University in Denver and is a graduate of the Johnson and Johnson-UCLA Healthcare Executive Program and the Leadership Pikes Peak’s Signature Program, where he received a Community Trustee Award.  Currently, David serves as the President of the Medical Service Board.   Personally, David and his wife Heather enjoy spending time with their 5 incredible children and their two beautiful grandchildren.
