Terri Weldon is the Director of Community Engagement at Pueblo Diversified Industries. Hailing from Pueblo, Colorado, she brings her nurturing spirit as a mother of five and a loving grandmother of six to her professional role. With a distinguished career spanning 17 years in call center management, Terri’s accomplishments include multiple awards, including being named Employee of the Quarter twice and earning a coveted nomination for Employee of the Year in 2016 during her tenure at a Mail Order Pharmacy. Her commitment to healthcare excellence is further underscored by her licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
In 2011, Terri’s life took a profound turn with the birth of her youngest daughter, Makenzy, who was diagnosed with the rare Glucose Transporter Deficiency Syndrome (GLUT1). This life-altering experience compelled Terri to delve into the intricacies of the medical and educational systems, transforming her into an unexpected advocate.
In 2022, Terri had the honor of participating in Leadership Pueblo, offered by the Pueblo Chamber of Commerce, reflecting her commitment to community leadership. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors for two prominent Pueblo-based non-profit organizations, BITS of Freedom Therapeutic Riding and the Pueblo Child Advocacy Center, in addition to her involvement with the Pueblo Community Health Center. Terri Weldon’s dedication and contributions to her community are truly commendable.
