Day Program

Day Program

PDI’s Day Program offers individuals the opportunity to engage with their peers and enhance their social, cognitive, gross motor, and fine motor skills. Participants can choose to join this program to work on various capabilities while being part of a supportive community. Through regular community outings, individuals learn to navigate their surroundings, access available resources, and foster connections with community members. The program caters to diverse interests and activities, both on-site and off-site, including cooking, gardening, social networking, art, and exercise, which are selected based on participant preferences.
In the PDI Day Program, each person collaborates with their support team, peers, and trained direct support professionals to establish an annual goal that serves as a guide for their progress. These goals are centered around promoting an ideal quality of life, empowering individuals to make choices that align with their personal aspirations, and fostering self-sufficiency. All activities within the day program are carefully designed to ensure the individual receives complete personal care, along with the necessary safety measures and support required to focus on achieving their unique goals. The program emphasizes a person-centered approach, ensuring that each individual has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their individualized goals within a secure and nurturing environment.

All day program classes are designed so that each individual has not only complete personal care, but also the safety and support they need to focus on achieving their goals.

Driven by personal choice, to achieve personal best quality of life.
