Pre-Vocational Services

PDI’s Pre-Vocational Program prepares people for meaningful employment through personalized skill-building and support. Training covers work habits, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, safety, and self-advocacy—removing barriers to workplace success.

Participants may earn wages while gaining hands-on experience, with transportation and adaptive equipment provided as needed. With over 50 years of expertise in adaptive work environments, PDI helps each person move confidently toward their career goals.

Beyond technical training, the program emphasizes confidence, responsibility, and a sense of purpose—helping people discover their strengths, explore career interests, and transition smoothly into competitive employment or further vocational opportunities.
